Enemy Behavior Improvements | Tech Discussion


This build I focused on Improving the existing behavior of the enemies and expanding upon it, along with some minor tweaks to other parts of the project.

Colliders:

- Worked in part with another member to change all weapon colliders to capsule colliders

Enemies:

- Added unique temp materials to distinguish between enemy type

- Spliced together more animation montages for more attacks

- Tweaked timing of wind-ups for existing and new attacks to give the player time to respond to the enemy's attack

- Enemies will now unsheathe weapons upon seeing the player for the first time

-Made it so enemies will turn when hit from behind, as well as they will not rotate towards player during their death animation

Player:

- Worked on the animation state machine for the player to add a branch for a new axe weapon
