Tech Discussion | Boss Post Mortem


Boss is now in its final stages with all polish, animations, and sounds implemented. The boss is complete with two separate combat phases with a healing stage in between.

- Defeating boss spawns win portal

- All spells have unique sounds and cast animations

- Sound and animation for healing and phase change

Fixed some saving, leveling up, and enemy bugs. Also reworked the wind spell to no longer use rag dolling sadly due to bugs it introduced. Did balancing for spells, the boss, and enemies.

- Save system does not save game objects anymore instead uses object names

- Balanced wind spell damage

- Balanced boss damage

- Balanced weapon damage for player

These will be my final updates for the project
