AI Changes | Tech Discussion


New features added to enemy AI:

- strafing left and right

- Now will attack player in random intervals

- Weapon no longer collides with AI and damages self

- AI's attack will move the enemy towards the character with the animation

- Created damage state for player and AI

- Added death animation and ragdoll physics to enemy when health is depleted

The prototype level now has three enemies within the level that are all killable and can damage the player. In the future I will be aiming to have the enemy feel more responsive with an initial attack when approaching the player, and possibly having them step back when the player attacks.
